Come with us to see the Northern lights fill the starry sky with beautiful dance. While we wait we have a good time in warmed lavvo (sami tent) having Sámi gourmet cooking course. We eat delicious food and enjoy warm drinks. The climate in Reisa valley is dry and the chances to see the Northern lights are very good, different from any cities and villages.

Transfer:

We fetch you from Sørkjosen airport or Reisafjord hotell in Sørkjosen and transfer you to our reindeer farm. When you have meet and greet the reindeers and tasted our Sami appetizer, and taken photos, we will start our trip towards our Sámi camp together with our Sami guide. We return to Reisafjord Hotel between 23.00 and 24.00.

To the adventurous we offer an activity package that last in three days and has extremely high experience factor. This package includes three of the best adventures in Troms region, a new adventure each day. This trip starts from our Reindeer park in the famous Reisa valley, where you also can get to know the reindeers and take photos, and ends with a fantastic cruise with Hurtigruten through Norwegian fjords.

The adventure content:

Day 1: Reindeer sledding to Sami camp

This is our famous "Meet Aurora & Rudolf" daytrip, but in this trip those who want can stay at our base camp in the wilderness. The tent is warm 24 hours, but still require sleeping bag. Those who don't want to stay at our camp can stay at our alternative accommodations. Read more about "Meet Aurora & Rudolf".

Day 2: Snowmobile safari to the mountains and ice fishing

The second day you get the opportunity to experience the mountain plateau on a snowmobile. We drive on marked snowmobile tracks to Halti area. The Halti is the highest mountain of Finland. We stop at our camp at fishing water, where our guest can dry fishing for Arctic Char. All snowmobiles have two riders, because of the driving distance. We can either at our base camp in Reisa valley or you can choose our alternative accommodations.

Day 3: Dog sledding, sightseeing and Hurtigruten cruise

The third day we start with dog sledding and activities. All participators can try husky sledding with dogs from Reisa valley, this is an very good activity. After the dog sledding we continue to the city of Nordreisa where we go sightseeing. This is a good opportunity to experience more of Reisa and maybe buy something as a memory from our fantastic trip in Reisa valley. After the sightseeing our trip continues to Skjervøy where our guest continue back to Tromsø with Hurtigruten. This is a 4,5 hours cruise and you will arrive Tromsø at midnight.

Guests from Reisafjord hotell get their transfer first day 14:00, the two other days 09:00.

If coming with flight we pick you up at Sørkjosen airport 11:00 and continue from the hotel 14:00 to Reisa valley.
